Looking to create completely flat paved surfaces on decks built-to-falls? Wallbarn ASP adjustable paving pedestals are the perfect solution to support paving slabs, promenade tiles on flat roofs, balconies, terraces and podium decks.

Even flat roofs are built to a small fall to allow adequate drainage. ASP pedestals have a telescopic stem which is wound up and down to create millimetre precise changes in height achieve a completely flat upper paving surface. Positioning lugs create a clear spacing between each slab which allows drainage and gives a clear, uniform paving line between slabs. The rainwater runs between and under the slabs, so there is no standing water left on the surface. They create a cavity between the sub-deck and the paving slabs which helps ventilate the structure and allows services such as pipes and cables to be hidden from view. 

ASP Adjustable paving pedestals are available in heights from 35mm up to 380mm. They are manufactured from polypropylene and can tolerate up to 1 tonne in weight per unit. They will not become brittle in low temperatures. ASP pedestals have been tested using the CATAS procedure for Compressive Strength at + 20°C and – 40°C. See technical data below for details.

This is a suspended system – the weight of the slab holds everything in place. Changes to height can be made whilst the slab is in place. This saves a great deal of time and labour.
