Wallbarn ASP adjustable paving pedestals are the perfect solution to support paving slabs, promenade tiles on flat roofs, balconies, terraces and podium decks.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Even flat roofs are built to a small fall to allow adequate drainage. ASP pedestals have a telescopic stem which is wound up and down to create millimetre precise changes in height achieve a completely flat upper paving surface. Positioning lugs create a clear spacing between each slab which allows drainage and gives a clear, uniform paving line between slabs. The rainwater runs between and under the slabs, so there is no standing water left on the surface. They create a cavity between the sub-deck and the paving slabs which helps ventilate the structure and allows services such as pipes and cables to be hidden from view. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>ASP Adjustable paving pedestals are available in heights from 35mm up to 380mm. They are manufactured from polypropylene and can tolerate up to 1 tonne in weight per unit. They will not become brittle in low temperatures. ASP pedestals have been tested using the CATAS procedure for Compressive Strength at + 20\u00b0C and &#8211; 40\u00b0C. See technical data below for details.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This is a suspended system \u2013 the weight of the slab holds everything in place. Changes to height can be made whilst the slab is in place.
